Hi,
We are looking for a database of news websites that accept submission of media releases. There are other requirements and other information required. So, please read this carefully - you must be able to complete all parts of this project, or please do not take it on.
You will need to find an excel sheet with this post, which will help to understand.

The important criteria – we are seeking information for 500 large tech news media websites.
To be clear, these are websites that produce technology related news articles, and have a large following. Examples of tech news media websites include Tech Crunch, Tech News World – if you’re not sure, that’s ok, we’re very reasonable.
We are seeking only dot com (.com) websites, which means that websites that don’t end with .com cannot be included, for example .net or .gov and [login to view URL], and .[login to view URL] can’t be included.
Only one website per top level domain. Again, for example, if there is a result for [login to view URL], then you cannot include a result from a subdomain, like [login to view URL]
They must be sites that accept media releases (press releases) by email, and they must have a published email address to send to. If they don’t pass both of those criteria, then they cannot to be included. So, you will be looking over many more websites to get 500.
If you already have a list that’s fine. if you are scraping sites that’s fine too, (but please make sure you submit only relevant websites – we have had a poor outcome once before, in this regard).
The information required is:
• Name of the organization / website
• Home Page URL
• The email address for media releases
• The name of the person receiving the email (if it is listed)
• The Page URL where that email address is listed, for checking purposes.
Once you have gathered all of the information, please check the Alexa rank and add into the sheet. There are many places where Alexa rank can be checked, in bulk. If this is something you haven’t done before then please don’t bid this time round.
