Atmel ATM32 + LTE(SARA) developer needed (C/C++)
$25-50 CAD / hour
We are looking to hire part-time or contract: mid-level to experienced C/C++ developer familiar with ATM32 CPU's, FreeRTOS, JSON, and, preferrably, with experience configuring and programming U-Blox SARA 412 LTE chips for updates and customisation of our LTE modem. The project is in prototype stage, the design and prototypes were built by a professional contractor and we are looking for someone local who could help us tailor the firmware to our wide variety of needs.
Briefly about our device: our modem is a NB-IoT band, three-port transparent serial modem/router designed for remote control and monitoring of automotive auxiliary power units, HVAC systems, vehicular telematics and asset tracking. Each port consists of a serial interface (CAN/LIN) and one or two DI/DO, plus voltage sense (AI).
The firmware foundation has been built and devices are running, we only need to create and expand functionality.
You will be working closely with mobile app engineer and web server engineer to build an API that will add new cool features to our automation platform. You should have a solid knwledge of C/C++, Atmel Studio (Eclipse) and be able to take ownership, responsibility an pride of what you do.
You can work as a part-time employee on free schedule, remotely, or a contractor on per-hour or per-contract basis. We will require face-to-face weelky meetings or calls. This job is ideal for someone who is already employed and who would like to make some extra money on the side.
