The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) is a volunteer led not for profit association that provides the voice for organized snowmobiling in the Province of Ontario. [login to view URL]
We are seeking a professional freelance ghostwriter to work with us on the items listed below. The ghostwriter will be given a briefing on each item and it will the the writer's responsibility to produce the article/script while capturing the OFSC's style, the essence of snowmobiling and relating to snowmobilers across the province.
1. Magazine – 1 issue
- 15% new OFSC content, including:
- Trailside Talk (CEO Message)
- Message from President (optional)
- Grooming article - talk about provincial fleet of groomers.
- Coordinating final layout
- Tourism Stories
- Potentially include rider stories (using information provided in survey responses)
2. Press Releases
- September kick off
- Permit fee/joint release drafted by MTO & OFSC
- 1 Release in September
- 5 Releases – October 2021
- 4 Releases – November 2021
- 5 Releases – December 2021
- 4 Releases – January 2022
- 4 Releases – February 2022
- 5 Releases – March 2022
3. Radio PSA Scripts
4. Press Release support as required
5. Marketing campaign communications support
Requirements:
- 5+ years freelance ghostwriting in powersports, preferably in snowmobiling
- Knowledge of snowmobiling industry/powersports in Ontario, related issues and political sensitivities
- Ability to capture OFSC style and CEO/President voices
- Detailed resume
- Examples of previous related work
- Outline of expected working arrangement/process, working style, turnaround time, and availability
- Specific working terms you have
We require someone who can start immediately. As such, please advise if you are interested and provide required items as soon as possible. Ideally, we are looking for responses by Wednesday, August 25th but no later than Thursday, August 26th.
