I wish to restrict access to my site to only allow users with IP addresses from USA and Canada. To clarify, if a user arrives with an IP address from Europe or Asia they will not be able to access the site. The reason for this is that the deals we are offering are exclusive for US and Canadian consumers.
I have a list of US and Canadian IP addresses. I have added them to a .HTACCESS file and uploaded it to the public_html folder.
However when I do this, i cannot access the site! I am in Canada so I should be able to access the site as my IP address is on the list.
I need an expert on Apache to have a quick look and see what error I have made and fix it.
This is a tiny job for the right person. I am willing to offer $25 for the person who can fix it.
