Hello Coders,

I have a WD My Passport Essential external backup drive product# wdbaaa3200abl-02

I just updated its software Version: 2.4.14 from this link: [login to view URL]

But now it can't even read my drive. The drive is operating normally when I connect it to the computer and the drive light also comes on but neither the WD smartware software nor the computer can detect it. I have rebooted the computer, disconnected / reconnected the drive, uninstalled / reinstalled the software several times but still no luck. I need someone who can fix this issue. I know the drive is operational because i can feel the normal vibration when I connect it to the computer and also the light comes on but the drive is not being detected. I will give you teamviewer access to my computer and the drive. Simple project for someone who has expertise in this field. Excellent feedback will be given.
