Hello: I need an experienced person for designing a new photo-gallery website solely for music photography, and I am looking for someone well-versed in RoR.
Think, a smaller flickr dedicated specifically and solely to quality photographs of bands and musicians. On this site there will be only a few photos of a plethora of bands – BUT there will only be quality photos.
The photographs are of bands from local shows (concerts). The primary purpose of the site is to display the photos that a visitor wants to see. They should be able to search by any of a few criteria, including band, show, venue, date, photographer, etc
Additionally, visitors to the site should be able to (quickly and easily, without signing in) rate the photos. Eventually, only the quality photos will be displayed and those with lower-ratings will disappear.
I have the photographs and a lot of the data for the DBs ready to go. I am looking for someone to handle the programming and the backend.
