Importing settings from Outlook 2007 to Thunderbird

I'm trying to migrate from Outlook 2007 to Thunderbird 2.0. ? The importing of my emails worked fine. ? But when I try to import my Outlook settings I get the following error message.

"An error occurred while importing settings. ? Some, or all, of the settings my not have been imported."

It's important I get this functioning as I have over 20 email accounts, and I do not want to have to recreate all of these manually in Thunderbird! ?

I've checked the mozilla/experts-exchange/etc forums exhaustively but haven't found any solution to this problem.

Can a program be written so the importation will work?
