What we require:
- 1 registration page where client's enter their details.
- Have the ability to set X client entries accepted
- once X number of clients have reached. the page will block out the form page (grayed out - jquery) and display over the top that "the target number of registration has now been reached, the waitlist is now closed for the time being."
- do form validation.
- when client hits submit button they will be redirected to a page saying that "your submission has been accepted, you are X in the queue."
- An email will be sent to client email address confirming their submission and their place in the queue and a copy emailed to me. (subject - Waiting list Registration Successful.)
- The record is entered into a structured database. To query the database before inserting a new row and check duplicate email before successful entry into the database. If the email is duplicate, a notice on screen will popup (jquery - grayed background) and say "you have already registered your email address in the waiting list" and a button to direct them to my website.
- 1 backend admin page which can display records of database in a table. with the queue number as the unique identifier.
and a field for admin to enter how many clients (X) to accept. In other words, the number of rows in the database cannot be more than X. This arbitrary X number can be set by admin page.
