Introduction
We are a boutique proprietary trading firm our retail business is done through a web based subscription service. Our unique model is that we don’t give advice we inform our customers on the trades that we execute on our funds on a real time basis so that the customers can follow these trades and benefit.
Website
The website currently has three funds , the aggressive growth fund, competitive value fund and the Quantitative Pair fund. A customer can subscribe to any of these funds , after subscription the customers can view their order history, the open positions and closed positions. The customers also will be sent SMS and email real notifications for the trade. We are currently launching our Quantitative pair fund and will launch other funds later.
Mobile app requirements
We are planning to have a mobile application for our subscribers to enhance the usability of our service and also to avoid the TRAI regulations regarding SMS.
Login: Our subscribers should be able to login and stay logged into the application
Default screen: Once logged in the default screen should show the icons of the three funds and also it should find out the funds that the customer has subscribed and should show those fund icons in green/any colour so that the user can click those icons. The application should simultaneously grey out icons of the funds that the customer has not subscribed.
Funds page: The structure is similar to all the funds that will be launched. The following icons should appear for all funds. This is the main menu for funds and users should be able to go back and forth to the main page and the following five screens.
Recent notifications: The last 3 notifications
Open positions: It should mirror the open positions in the web site
Closed positions: It should mirror the closed positions in the web site.
My order history: Should mirror the order history page in the website
Performance: Should show the performance graph of the fund vs nifty.
Latest news: This page the users can get the latest news of any fund launches by our company and also will stream the twitter messages and weekly blogs.
Push Notifications:
The application should be able to push the notifications with a alert sound to users and on click of it should display the details of the trade. The notification should also specify that the users can refer to the notification later in the recent notifications page. The user will get notifications also on our latest fund launches .
Design Extensibility:
The funds page and the home page design must be modular enough for our company to add more funds in quickly in to the future.
