I've got a semi-completed project that I am REALLY hoping you can help me with.
I'm new to Freelancer.com. but have had several projects on [login to view URL] (Under name App-Different). I came here looking for just the right talent, and judging by your feedback and portfolio, you seem more than capable of completing this project.
The development team I had hired has had some internal shakeup and they lost the key developer working on my app. As this point, the project is stalled, and they no longer have the resources to complete it.
It is a Texas Hold'em poker game, but has a twist that I've seen in no other poker game yet. The basic gameplay would be similar to "Texas Poker". [login to view URL]
It definitely has a different look and feel than that game. But a lot of the functionality will be similar.
I've got 90% of all the artwork is completed. (I can supply the rest as needed)
Nearly all the screens have been completed for iPad and iPhone.
Game engine is 75% done, and most functions work fairly well at this point.
Server side (PHP work) has been started, and the game plays but is still very buggy.
There are several tweaks and polish still needed as well.
I know it's always a challenge to pick up and complete some else's work, but I'm in a tight spot here and would love to work with you to complete this game. I'm already several thousand dollars into it, and have a remaining budget of around $5,000 (+/-) to get it completed. Hourly/job cost can broken down into milestones and negotiated as needed.
If you are interested, just let me know and I'll send along an NDA and more specifics of the game. (If you can send me a UDID I'd could give you the current build to install and review. It really does have something "different" that I promise you haven't seen before. I think you'll be excited to work on it.
Additionally, the previous developer is very cooperative and promised to give you whatever support you might need to get up to speed.
All the work so far has been done for iOS, but I need it written for Android, and Facebook as well.
I've been using Elance for a while now, and have a couple other iOS apps in the app store already. I have not made this offer to any other developer at this point. I'm really looking forward to your reply and hope we can work together on this.
If you've worked on poker apps before, can you provide links to a game I can review?
Do you have ability to tie into as a facebook game? (Similar to Zynga)
