Herbal Supplement Product Research (HSPH)
This project aim to enable the company to start selling a herbal based supplement product to a world wide audience. The product (for now BrandH) is a super food product that consists of Resveratol (50%) from Japanese knotweed, Ashitaba (25%) and White Turmeric (25%) where the option to ad additional herbal content will be considered if it can further the products effectiveness and or marketebility.
The assignment includes the following key areas:
1. To research what requirements that such a natural herbal product needs to fulfill in order to be sold in Europe, USA and Asia. This in order to ensure that the content and the marketing messaging can be designed to comply to such rules/guidelines.
2. To research the existing product offerings to propose a positioning of BrandH including:
- propose key messaging/product promises
- list the key attributes of the physical design of product packaging (including label)
3. To research and propose at minimum 3 high quality low cost manufacturers who can manufacture (including sourcing raw material) the product and to be delivered in at least a soft gel form of 60 tablets of in total 1000 mg and that also provide packaging and delivers to key distribution hubs.
4. To research and find the top 3 wholesale distributors in the USA, Germany, France, Spain, UK, Italy, Russia, Japan and Korea that then are connected to primarily an on line retail network including the key terms to sell truth mentioned wholesellers.
5. To research and list the top 5 on line retailers suitable for BrandH in the USA, Germany, France, Spain, UK, Italy, Russia, Japan and Korea including the key terms to sell truth such retailers.
6. To write a marketing plan who this product can be marketed by using the key social media platforms such as twitter and Facebook including to propose the party who can be a low cost provider of writing articles, making postings on blogs etc to execute such social media plan (can of course be the assignee to this project)
7. to ad any item proposal that may improve the success of introducing BranH
NOTE:
In order to create a more focused approach we may consider to limit the scope to English speaking countries like the USA and the UK. We believe this will enable the assignee to provide a more comprehensive research and marketing plan within a reasonable time frame.
After such plan has been approved we aim to expand the project to all other countries accordingly but then under a new agreement.
