Hello, we are a tropical fish store specializing in Saltwater Fish, Corals & Invertebrates as well as Freshwater Fish and Plants. We have a retail store but now need a presence on the web.

Requirements

We currently have Zen cart already installed so we would like to continue with Zen cart enhancements/ customization. We DO NOT want the site to look like a carbon copy template that we see so often.

We are looking for someone who is also familiar with SEO so the design and development should strive to be search engine friendly as well as developing a way to get us top on Google searches.

Code should be written in English and all code delivered to us upon completion.

-The website should look good in all (common) screen resolutions and be in compliance with web2.0 standards and be compatible with Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers.

We are also looking for an individual or a company to work on driving quality traffic to the new website. Your marketing methods should be legal and should not violate Google’s webmaster guidelines.

-There should be no paid traffic; traffic must be targeted, bringing relevant people who will be interested in the site.

-No spam, bots, robots, link farms; Only white hat methods; No visitors from auto surf site; No fake visitors. This will be monitored.

-Google, Google AdSense should not ban my site.

Style and layout

-I’m looking for a very clean, professional looking site – with GREAT graphics. We need a site with the functionality of:

[url removed, login to view] but with a different color theme- a black background. The right person will pitch us a great idea for going forward – we are looking for something original and very catchy.

I DO NOT WANT OUR SITE TO LOOK like a COPY of any of the above site – but I like the style. Please try to be original. I’m open to suggestions if you have ideas (preferably show me a mock up of a design so we can see which way we will proceed).

I would like a flash banner on the main landing page using nice stock photos to be edited by you and incorporated into the overall theme, as well as some flash headers for some of the categories –which I would like you to provide me with graphic ideas with. The flash banner on the main page should be a welcome message which we will provide later. I would like you to come up with nice graphics and transitions for this flash banner with a tropical fish theme. We can discuss this in more detail with the winning bidder.

Very IMPORTANT – we want all images on the site to be displayed with curved edges. Examples available in word document attached.

All pages should have the copyright mark on them.

-On the product page there must be an option to show additional images of a product. Ex: one main (large) image and several thumbnail images if we store more than 1 photo for a product.

-The website must show previous visited/viewed products by the visitor/customer and an option to show recommended products.

I’m also looking for some custom graphics to be made that will be used on the landing page, examples in attached word document.

We need some custom graphics created for certain links on our site.

We also need full payment processing (tax included in pricing) incorporated that will work with online payment gateways (will be determined later)
