Social Media Marketing

Do you tweet, share, and post to social media in your sleep? Do you know what it takes to grow an online community?Are you a wordsmith who loves crafting content that gets attention?

We're an Indian and South Asian Wedding Planning website and are looking for a talented PART TIME social media content manager to manage our social media accounts & content marketing by implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into customers, and active fans and promoters of our company.

You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, solid communication skills and enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

You will

*Develop & execute content & social media marketing plans and content (editorial) calendar

*Write High Quality Articles related to planning Indian and South Asian Weddings

*Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

*Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.

*Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.

*Develop ideas for original, quippy thought provoking thematic content for social media channels (blog posts, memes, videos, infographics etc)

*Collaborate with other team members on execution and delivery of content.

*Become a company advocate in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate

*Identify opportunities to guest blog and invite guest bloggers to participate

*Regularly provide feedback on insights gained from social media monitoring (Facebook Insights, etc.)

*Continuously monitor social media trends and tools for changes that affect our competitive landscape

*Use alerts, search and other tools to monitor for mentions

You have :

*1-3 years experience, preferably in a content role handling end-to-end content & social media marketing strategy & execution; including conceptualizing, designing, launching & supporting online, interactive and/or multi-channel content

*Exceptional verbal and written communication with internal & external partners

*Strong passion for the Indian Wedding & Bridal Fashion industry , digital media, and all forms of marketing that drive content virality

*Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including SEO

*Strong project management and cross-team collaboration skills

*Experience in utilizing third-party tools such as Google Analytics and hootsuite to test and analyze the success of content initiatives

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

*Bachelor/ master degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or Communications

*Must be available online from 9am -1230 am PST (California time) everyday for daily voice & written communication
