I have a list of of ~10,000 rows in a Google Doc Spreadsheet with the following columns:
- Channel
- Page URL
- Visitors
- Visits
- Views
- Metrics Date Range
- Title
- Publishing Date
- Content Type
- Alignment
- Category
1 ) If the Channel is [url removed, login to view]
I need a script (preferably that can run in Google Docs or Excel) to use the Page URL from the spreadsheet, and pull the Title, Category information from this webpage [url removed, login to view]
For example, if the page URL was [url removed, login to view] - the title would be WebEx Cloud Connected Audio
The Categories would then need to match up
Website Categories > Spreadsheet Categories
- Borderless Networks > Enterprise Networks / BYOD / Mobility
- Business of IT > Business of IT / ITaaS
- Data Center > Data Center / Cloud
- Collaboration > Collaboration / UC / Video
From there the Alignment would need to match up
Spreadsheet Category > Alignment
Enterprise Networks / BYOD / Mobility > Leadership in the Core
Business of IT / ITaaS > Other
Collaboration / UC / Video > Collaboration
Data Center / Cloud > Data Center
SDN > Leadership in the Core
Security > Other
2) If the Channel is Blog
I need a script that can run in Google Docs or Excel that will use the Page URL information, and scrape the title.
