Contest Brief

Hi freelancers,

I need a new visual identity for a patient association for people with heart trouble and atherosclerosis (“EDTA-patientforeningen”). Therefore, the primary focus is older people.
The current website is http://edta-patientforeningen.dk – we want a visual expression that is something TOTALLY different. We like http://www.hjerteforeningen.dk/ - the visual expression should be similar; light (no darkness or mystery), warm (we care), safe (you are safe with us).

IN GENERAL: I will try to give you as much and as fast feedback as possible. I would love you to submit early in the process so I can give feedback and you can work from there.

1) LOGO
I have the logo in a very good quality (attached) and it should be kept that way. But I need you to work on some different ways to put the name on the logo. Right now some different versions of the logo are in use (see attachment) – there need to be more consistency; it should be the same font etc. on the different versions. Basically we need 3 versions; Large website logo (like edta1, but without the small text), smaller versions of that (like edta2 or edta3) and finally one for the newsletter that says "EDTA NYT".

2) STYLE TILE
The second thing I want you to work on is a “style tile” that should grasp all the visual stuff in a nice way. Take a look at e.g. http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/tutorials/workflow-tutorials/style-tiles-an-alternative-to-full-design-comps/ and http://www.creativebloq.com/web-design/style-tiles-4132333
I need something like that including (but not limited to) possible colors, patterns, fonts (type, size and color for h1, h2, p, links), form elements (buttons, textfield style etc). You should work with the colors in the logo – but if you want to suggest a slightly different tone please do so. We like red :)

Let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to your submits!

Peter
