Contest Brief

I have included historical information about the company below, so you can read about Scotty's and get a feel for the brand. However, there are some things that I DO NOT want to see in the new logo sumbissions, so let's start there:
I do NOT want to see a caricature based on the current logo--if you do that you are immediately disqualified.
That wasn't too difficult, just don't send me a logo with a man from Scotland! Be creative and be original, if your submission is copied by another, I give preference to the original, in most cases. We do comment on your submissions, so be prepared for our mostly constructive evaluation of your submission. I'm thinking that a crest might be a good way to incorporate different elements into one cohesive logo. As always, there can be only ONE! Best of luck! SEE BELOW

Scotty’s Taxi, New Jersey’s oldest service founded in 1923, by another immigrant Scotty Neilens, was up for sale. when Aurelio and Rumores seized the opportunity and purchased this small but established company from the original owners. Capitalizing on the company’s good reputation, The Rumores used their business savvy… expanding company services far beyond the usual rides from point A to point Z, to include deliveries, care for seniors unable to travel on their own, plus “school runs” for busy parents pressed for time.

A well maintained fleet of late model vehicles plus a trained staff of drivers with a “safety first” attitude assured Scotty’s it’s long established reputation as North Jersey’s local transportation leader… a distinction it holds to this day.

Scotty’s tradition of kindness, punctuality, affordability, safety and care for every customer continues today. Still family owned, Scotty’s Taxi is proud to be celebrating 95 years of service to the greater North Jersey community.
