    Dear Contest Holder
Just a little advice from someone who have seen how scammers operate here.
If you are going to open a sealed contest, you will be attracting all the clipart users, as they will feel free to full you without dealing with the risks of the vigilance from designers who might otherwise recognize the clipart and report it to you.
Your best chances for success here are to extend the duration of this contest, be more specific in your brief about your personal taste and be patient. At some point, a good designer will jump in. But if you want to succeed, you might want to take the time to engage in a dialogue. Good designers are used to work "with" customers. Not "for" them.

Both sealed and unsealed, it have its own advantages and disadvantages. It's my opinion but "just the way you are". No hard feeling, honestly, I know how it feels to be a CH, there are so many considerations that they have to choose, Does the logo are worth enough to be placed? Does it interesting enough? Does it "would be likely" attracts the client/customer? Does it really represents the company bussines? Is it the time are still enough till publication? I don't meant to be high guys, but just, we must respect the rulers, they're the ones who held the contest that come with its rulers.

Contest's like a gamble, you must be prepared for what it takes. As a designer we should thinking with a lot of differents point of view to see of how we create something that "not only" attracting in our eyes but the others too, especially clients. Being rejected doesn't meant it's an end, all we need is just rethinking our concept. I'm same with you guys, I'm a designer too, even I'm still not that good to be called designer, but here we come with the efforts. I'm just so sorry if my word's kinda rude, even flawed grammars. There's still a lot of time left btw, so let's give our best till the end of the deadline! Cheers :)

Imagine that I specified exactly that I want a Black banner on white background in Verdana font, with the letter 'O' in 'com' represented by a curled up cat. I bet i'd get a load more entries and they'd ALL fit my brief, but why would I pay $290 for that when I can do it myself? I am paying for DESIGN work in a COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT where not everyone is going to get the concept right. (this is directed as general feedback not specifically at you)

    Hi Rached1,
I understand that there I no time to provide written feedback for every design that you reject. But you could reduce the amount of designs that miss the mark by improving your Brief. No one expects you to tell us what you want in the manner that you described below - if you could do that, you would not need a designers creativity. But you could establish the scope in styles and eliminate bad taste by describing what styles you dislike. Or making simple analogies that work. ( ...continues in next box)

( continuation from previous) for example: I was in a logo contest for a luxury homes builder. He wrote: "think Mercedes". After I submitted mt first design, he wrote: "inlike it more Calvin Kline, less Versace". The analogies of brands and fashion designers he used didn't tell anything about shapes or fonts for the logo he wanted but were perfect analogies to reflect his sense of taste and that was incredibly helpful. Thanks to those simple indicators I was able to design a winning logo.

All designers, I have had a lot of entries in this contest however, alot are very similar and none that I am willing to pay for. If you feel that you have a truly unique design, please submit it as I will still look till the end. However, it appears I will not have a winner in this contest and will be re-posting as a sealed competition.

    Dear v,
Forgive me the indiscretion, but if you are going to give you highest ratings to proposals with a simple cat silhouette, why spend $290 on a design that you could easily create yourself by purchasing a Vector Cat Silhouette online for only $5 ?

    Dear Contest Holder,
just wondering if this is a Clipart-friendly contest.
For example, entry #56 and #80 used clipart (http://www.123rf.com/photo_15538749_cat-silhouette.html).
Please be very clear on where you stand on this, since people who design from scratch typically don't race against clipart users.
Therefore you will end up having either one kind or the other.
