Contest Brief

The job is to design a logo and brand character for a handyman business (example attached).

We are a business that does handyman work in a tropical area near the ocean. We want to create a strong brand that shows who we are and attracts customers.
Our business name is The Whitsundays Handyman.

We need:

1. A simple and memorable logo with our business name.
It should be professional and trustworthy.
We suggest using blue, green, and grey colours that show reliability. The logo should use shades of blue or green that reflect our tropical location. The font colour should be white or grey.

2. A friendly and approachable brand character of a handyman who is lifting his hat off to say hello and holding some tools in his other hand.
He should be wearing a shirt and pants in shades of blue or green that reflect our tropical location.
The character should have a big smile on his face to convey friendliness and approachability.
The character's skin tone should be light to medium, and his hair colour should be darker blond (an example is attached).

We want our branding to show that we are professional, reliable, and approachable.
We would like to receive the logo and character design in vector file format, source file, png, and jpeg.
