Contest Brief

My husband and I are planning on starting up a winery with a tasting room on a piece of property we just purchased and looking for a logo to be made for our wine bottles. The property is located about 30 mins from a major city so it is just far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to enjoy city amenities...our own personal escape. With that, we plan to call the property "Just Far Enough" Farms or "jfe" or "JFE" for short.

A bit about the property:
The front half is a flat hayfield with large round bales of hay. The back half is currently used as a pasture for a few cows. It is characterized by small rolling hills with several large white oak trees with Spanish moss hanging from the branches. There are 2 good sized ponds on the property as well. I really think I like the idea of having the Spanish moss into the design somehow

Logo style:
We like clean, but arent afraid of something totally off the wall and different. We dont want a typical white background that youd normally see on wine in a grocery store (Nothing with grapes please). Instead, we'd like something that matches the property and or name. All colors are game. We also like the idea of a design that can be etched/printed on to the glass and wrap around the bottle. If you Check out “tentacle wines” they have neat bottle with an image wrapped around the bottle like what I’m talking about.

    I appreciate the people attaching the logo to the wine bottle. Definitely helps me visualize it better.

    Also, A few entries have had some old English looking text...not a huge fan of that font style.
