Contest Brief

New construction company looking for a minimalist logo design. We are a modern company that is looking to evoke not only a modern logo but also have it have a sense of warmth and comfort. We focus on quality work. We do house remodels and renovations, as well as some new home, builds.

Board & Beam Co. is the name for the logo.
I would like it to be primarily typography as well as only 2 colors
I would like it to have a stand-alone icon - could be made from text. Prefer it to have a circle or similar shape in the text.
I have included some photos of logos we like.
