     It won't be fair for other contesters. Not accepting entries before the end of the contest defeats its definition. Also, you'll be surprised by others' ideas with all respect to highlighted contesters. Kindly

     The opposite actually... I wasn't closing the contest, just informing people that there are submissions that are really good, and you may not want to waste your time. As far as I'm concerned, my contests NEVER end. If you come up with a better solution, I'll buy it from you!

  do you want the widget to display the flags and redirect to appropriate language subdomain?
  
  do you want to add the widget directly to be theme? or a widget you just drag and drop to the sidebar. in that case, you can easily change the url when needed
