Contest Brief

We really like the current banner; the look, feel and colour scheme but think the 'live forever' font in particular could be 'better' and overall be a bit tighter and sleeker.
The colours and fonts are negotiable, though the winning entry will be in the in the blue / cyan / turquoise... colour schemes.

Keep in mind that we like the current banner and it is fine to stick to the overall scheme and lay-out as is, but we think it can be even more awesome! so go be awesome, give us your best and thank you for entering. We are really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.

The banner is for www.liveforeverhowto.wordpress.com

It's important to note that the winning entry will NOT contain any images or pictures of things such as clouds, flowers, plants, animals, sun, moon, water, crucifix, people etc. We like typography, that gives a good idea.

Making it vector would be fabulous but high resolution is a must as this will also be used for print.

We have attached the psd files of the current banner.

Thank you to all the entrants for all your entries. We loved all entries, as in really. Some were simply more in line with what we had in mind and therefore received a higher star rating.

We’ve rated a fair amount of banners with 5 stars because we would be proud to display any of them on our website just as they are or with minor modifications.

We’ve listed most entries (soon) that received a five star rating on our website under the heading ‘birth of our banner.’ (http://liveforeverhowto.wordpress.com/2014/08/22/the-birth-of-our-banner/) We intend to do the same with our logo.

Next we’ll need a logo to go with the winning design and we invite all entrants here to submit a logo to match the winning design on our next contest.

Hi Amszila yes we can see #70 now in colour thanks. The thing is at first we saw all of them in colour but now #37 and #54 look black with a bit of yellow text

Hi all,
Thank you for all the entries. We’ve extended the contest by three days only due to logistics and unforeseen circumstances from our end. Not because we don’t have enough good entries. We have at the moment more great entries than we know what to do with. We did not extend the contest because we need more entries. We are very happy with what we have. We may ask some people to make some minor changes in the next few days.

  Hi STORMfang, the 'a' is coloured differently just to provide contrast for design reasons and to tie the colour in with the other letters.

  Option one: not too keen on the font for Live for ever. Option two, really nice touch using the F like that, Option three:nice positioning but again the font not our top choice.
