Contest Brief

Fun project is to design 7 icons to start. More work will likely be negotiated with the winner. Icons should be flat design but multi color.
Icons are to be used with a web survey as graphic representations of possible survey responses. Audience will be North American so design should be fitting.

Imagine you respond to a survey on a mobile with touch screen only and little text so it requires easy to understand icons for response.

First is to represent the question - "Are you male or female?" - could be male female symbols, over/under toilet paper roll, beard and lipstick or anything else you can dream up
Second is to represent the question "What is your age range - 20-25, 26-30,31-40, 41-50,51-60,60+" Examples may be to ask instead - what was the new technology when you were growing up? - washer/dryer, color tv, VCR, Internet, Smartphone. Or the hottest group when I was growing up was - The Beach Boys, ABBA, Culture Club, New Kids on the Block, NSYNC

Again have fun with the ideas, someone filling out the survey should have a little laugh at filling these out and should be able to choose an icon without too much text help.

Dear CH. Apologie if i'm being a bit thick here. You've mentioned 7 icons. However your brief seems to only indicate 2-i.e male/female & age group. Did you want samples of these 2 and then provide the rest?

The 7 icons are 1 for male/female 2 for age range, 3 technology when you grew up.. 4 hottest group... 5, 6, 7 ?
