This is a poem for children about the Japanese practice of forest bathing. People spend time in nature to relax by using all of their senses (touch, smell, taste, hear, see).

Age: 10 to 12

Must have: trees,, girl and boy interacting with nature

Tone: soft, watercolor or pastel, colorful, soothing, relaxing

Stanzas from poem:

A walk under the trees
Can help you unwind
Rest from your computer
And quiet your mind

Lather up with a cool breeze
There's no soap quite like it
Whispering against your skin
The air like a soft bath mitt.
