Contest Brief

I need a new logo for my ice hockey team. It is going to go onto our jerseys as well as other articles of clothing. The team name is "Blades of Steel," and our jersey is attached. (You can pull the colour from it.)

I'd like the design to be "retro modern," and it must include a hockey stick and a scalpel (we're a team of surgeons). The logo is to be stitched, and the final package of files will have to include a version that is optimized for embroidery. I expect the design to be completely original—no reproduction of copyrighted content—and I will own the rights to use the final logo. Lastly, the colours used should include white and purple (matching the jersey) and black, if necessary. Beyond that, I am open to artistic suggestions!
