Contest Brief

I need a Horse Statue designed. I will need it to be in a 3D format so that I can have it made into an actual statue. I am open to the design. It could be a horse head, a horse running, or a horse with a jockey on it. I am planning on having the statue coated with Swarovski crystals. I am not sure of what the final material will be that the statue is made from, but need to get the design first. Again, it is imperative that I can get the original files in a 3D format such as CAD or Google Sketchup. The eventual size of the statue will be small. Not more than 12 inches high. I will provide lots of feedback on designs. Thanks in advance for participating. If you have questions, please ask.

  do you like something more abstract....i mean there already too many horse statues which are just a scale down model of e real horse.if you are interested then i think i have something which is unique and not downloaded or copied...

hi.two questions. you accept 3ds max file (.max .3ds) or some 3d format exported from max? and the material, glossy or matte?

  The eventual object will be covered in Swarovski crystals. If you have a standard 3D format (I am only familiar with Sketchup and CAD files), that should be acceptable.

Clarification: I am open to receiving sketches, but please note that MUCH stronger consideration will be given to submissions that can provide 3D files with renderings. Also, as I have reviewed submissions, my client has asked that we focus in on a bust of the horses head. Thank you all who are submitting. We will continue to provide feedback.

Would also consider just a horses head with a racing bridle and maybe racing colors.

Have some nice entries. As oppose to a horse just standing, I would like to see it running. Instead of work horses, like Clydesdales, think race horses. This will be to commemorate the Kentucky Derby.
