  Hi All, I feel I need to clarify. I am getting a little tired of designers such as #4 giving me, what is probably the worst design I have ever seen. Would you not agree that it it totally unsuitable? Or am I missing something and you think it is appropriate? All he has done is put my logo on the top of some rubbish template he has found! Yes, I have rejected entries so far, because they are very poor. Doesn't mean I will reject all other entries. However it is my prerogative to reject anything as I wish. "Stefan" I have already stated all the details I would like on the flyer, it is up to YOU as designers to come up with ideas, not me! Its clear to me that most designers want to make a quick buck and use poor imagery and very little effort in order to get paid quickly. "Rebecca J" please don't make comments and talk about me in that way to other designers. If you have something to say to me direct, please feel free to message me.

     I think those whom enter in this manner in the "Hopes of Winning" should at least offer something of a suitable standard. I'm all for gaining experience, but unfortunately, most contest or project holders need professional level of work producing. Again, my ref to entry #4, is just a joke and to be honest, an insult of my time.

     You are absolutely right! The work should be professionally made and with some effort. And yes, designs like #4 are a waste of your time (I don't even think he knew what he was designing for, that one wasn't suitable at all)
     
     But I'm confident that you will have a lot more contesters in this competition and you will receive projects that are more to your liking now when you have rated one. Now we all know what style you think is "ok". :)

     Again, Stefan, if you have something to say, please contact me directly. What would please me, is designers ACTUALLY designing, based on the details given. Come up with ideas yourself and produce something that is of a suitable standard.

  I see you reject all the suggestions. Not bad to explain exactly what you want and what you would have liked a design! Otherwise no one will be able to please you and you will be left without a poster!

     It has been a various types of designs, he has commented on some of them ("This is awful").
     
     Mine wasn't commented, just rejected so I contribute with my design so everyone else who gives it a try know which style to avoid:

     I think he has a very clear image in his head how he want the flyer to look like, it's a bit disappointing that he doesn't share his vision with us so we could have a fair chance to meet his expectations.
