<Technology Description>
This technology relates to a technology for displaying a proper timing for switching between autonomous driving and manual driving in a driver-assistance system.

One of the problems that can be anticipated in a car that is capable of both autonomous driving and manual driving is that the driver must reliably be made aware of a proper timing for switching between the two driving modes in order that the driver can respond smoothly to a need for a transition between the two driving modes.

To solve this problem, this technology generates a list of scheduled actions that are needed for the car to perform on a route to a specified destination (e.g. left/right turn, lane change, exiting highway etc), together with corresponding indications as to whether each scheduled action is to be performed autonomously or manually. Such list of scheduled actions and the corresponding indications is displayed on a display, with the schedule actions that are to be performed by manual driving being displayed with more emphasis than the scheduled actions that are to be performed by autonomous driving.
