Contest Brief

This contest is to create a logo design for my new website - Smart Effective Learning (www.smarteffectivelearning.com).

I require one logo which should contain the business name - Smart Effective Learning. It may or may not contain other graphical/visual elements.

The primary colours which I would like to use in this design are #551956, #015546, and #000000. Black may also be used for outlines or trim if necessary.

As the domain name suggests, this website is all about learning. My target audience is ambitious people who want to learn how to learn more effectively, so they can master the skills they need to take control of their lives, their learning and their careers.

My mantra on the site is “Learn more, learn better, live your full potential”.

I want the logo to feel welcoming, creative and fun. Something that has a little bit of spark and energy to it.

The winning logo will be used in a wide variety of contexts, so it is ESSENTIAL that it looks well with a transparent background and does NOT require a white or dark background.

I’m looking for an elegant and timeless logo. I DO NOT want anything overly generic or corporate. Corporate and generic logo designs will be rejected immediately.

Once I have chosen the winning design, I also plan to commission a social media branding pack based on that design, so if you’re chosen as the winner, there is an opportunity to work on future projects with my company as well.
