Have a fabulous business I am working on . Its a website selling clothing, accessories and giftware for the quirky woman over 50 that likes to stand out for her style and individualism. Its all about supporting each other with our quest to find these items which are sometimes hard to find.I will be doing a blog, pinterest, instagram and referral website. I need a bright, individual and quirky design using bright colours and Quirky bold print. See the following for inspiration

You need to check weather or not the font used in your "logo" is open source or "free".

Get the name of the font used, where it was downloaded from and check. It's important.

If the font is open source - it's generally fine and you can verify that by going to the source website and checking the usage terms.There are however occasionally restrictions, so always check.

If the font is termed "free" - it basically isn't, it's actually commercial. If you're going to use it commercially you have to contact the fonts designer directly and purchase a commercial licience (or the equivalent) from them - otherwise, you're liable.

Hopefully whoever typed your winning entry for you has already told you this, if not - be advised.

You do need to check you have the right to use the font commercially.
