LOGO Design - for Discounts software

We're loooking for a strong different and interesting logo for a new software project.

The software is for searching various Discounts from internet sources (discounts in accomodation, services or even online shops)

Logo is to represent this aspects.

Software name: SLEVOMYŠ

Notes:
- The name includes the special czech character "Š" with the accent. Please see attachement slevomys.jpg to see how it looks in czech alphabet!
- Logo can be uppercase, lowercase or combined - it is up to you :-)
- The name is a conjuntion from two Czech words: "Slevo" means "Discounts" and "Myš" means "Mouse (the animal)"
- The Mouse (animal) symbol can and should be an aspect of the logo.
- The logo should look a little bit "funcy" or as a "studen project" - it should be not too much "bussines like".
- The logo should fit to the "rectangular" design of the software itself. See attachemen "screenshot.jpg".
- The name can also contain a (czech) www domain suffix: SlevoMyš.cz

The perfect logo should contain some strong element (like the Mouse graphics or whatever), which can be used as an software icon in Windows
(so the "element" should fit to the square area of standard Windows icon). If you will design both Logo and Windows icon, it is a BIG PLUS!

Colours - maximum three colors:
- black background
- white foreground
- you can include a third color (red or whatever) to emphasise some parts of the logo (part of mouse symbol, accent etc)

- The logo and colours should be "minimalistic". We prefer clean lines and colors, not colour gradiends etc. It should look good in grayscale pallete as well.

We want something interesting that will stand out and be remebered.

To everyone:
- Thanks for your ideas, some ofthem are really great. But keep in mind the overal composition. The font and overal aligment is also an important part of the logo.
- It is the plus when mouse looks "funny" - see entry #33 , for example. The logo should invoke the "positive emotions" and smile.
- Also, please avoid ideas with "$" sign - we do not have dollars in my country :-)

To everyone: please create logos with white FOREGOUND on black BACKGROUND, as described in Brief. See screenshot.jpg and try to imagine the logo incorporated into software mainscreen. Logo should be horizontal (nice example is #19 ), not vertical as #10 . Also, please submit only one logo in one entry - it is not easy to rate one image with three logos odf different quality :-) Thanks!!!
