Contest Brief

We are an A.I. & Cyber Security researcher and a Full Stack Web Developer at the European Space Agency, and just started our own startup called Sheriff.ai

Sheriff.ai a Biometric Authentication solution for Business-to-Business

Sheriff.ai monitors the user passively for ~10-15 min, during which the Machine Learning algorithm is trained. After the training phase, the computer is able to recognise the user based on their mouse movements alone. Should another, unauthorized user, use the computer, then within 10-15 seconds the computer will recognise the intruder, log the user out, and alert the system administrator.

We someone to develop our logo, which should be simple, clear, beautiful, and in line with what we are doing (A.I. / Cybersecurity / Biometric Authentication)

It is initially intended for the B2B market, so it has to look professional and trustworthy. Especially since we handle secondary, continuous authentication.

The designer chosen will be asked to work a follow up projects as well, for an hourly rate of $20-$60. We do want to hire a freelancer a bit more longer term, over the coming weeks
since we're not quite sure what we need/want.

To update the design, based on current feedback and developments.
We will be going to lots of tech conferences and space conventions, pitching to investors
so we will need someone, or a team, that can work on a continuous basis.

    Look at your competition, not those you split from, but the real competition. Check on their branding. They have a strong visual presence without compromising. You? If you were a poop cleaning company, you would probably be asking to have a logo with a broom and a turd. Just INSANE. Don't, EVER and NEVER, try to spend your money on your stubbornness, listen to what others say. If you knew a thing or two about being creative, you would have made a logo yourself. Good luck in your endeavors.

    I usually come to freelancer on my spare time just to see if there's some changes. Judging by the entries some Contest Holders rate the highest, I can say... it's still the same. This place is not for designers, but for those with a rich mockup and fonts libraries. So much crappy entries. For instance, a startup in the Cyber Security environment is rating a bunch of mice, just because the the system monitors it's movement for a few minutes. My question is, I'm not knowledgeable in that industry but, is that all what your company is doing or plans to do? I mean, you are the one paying, so you should get what you are looking for, but you are not a designer and you obviously have no idea where the company's heading tomorrow. Aren't you going to monitor touch devices? Or those who actually don't use the mouse that often?

      If that's the only thing you are doing, your company is already obsolete. But if you are planning on expanding and conquering new coming interactive ways of using computers (and all other smart intelligent devices), you shouldn't be asking for a SPERM LOOKING LOGO. That's just the worst emblem you can put on any mockup. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about my entries in any contest here, but believe me, my experience says giving the designer time to collect information, research and deliver a decent work is way better than saying "I need a mouse to do this and that in a logo". That's just crap.

    Hello everyone, thank you so much for your entries. I particularly like the ones with a mouse, and not a fingerprint. Perhaps a lock/door/gate/entrace that a mouse is trying to get into would be a nice sketch?
