Contest Brief

I'm changing my Pilates teaching brand and need a SIMPLE logo and some designs for a number of tag lines that I can use on:

- Web headers
- Web pages
- Facebook landing page / profile
- Twitter profile
- Printed marketing material (t-shirts, leaflets, posters etc)

In terms of imagery, I would prefer a design which uses a logo (which you will design) plus the words ‘opotopo pilates.com' and 'opotopopilates.com' (the latter would probably require some different colours for each word with maybe 'opotopo' and 'pilates' being in one or two colours and 'in' plus '.com' being in black or another colour).

Please, please, please no designs of people doing exercise/pilates.

The logo needs to be modern and confident plus convey warmth and positivity.

4. Design for tag line ‘Slow is the new fast’ to work with logo that could be printed on the back of a t-shirt for example
5. Design for tag line ‘I’m investing in my spine’ to work with logo that could be printed on the back of a t-shirt for example
6. Design for tag line ‘Its all about the flow’ to work with logo that could be printed on the back of a t-shirt for example
7. Design for tag line ‘Small Pilates classes in Loughborough and South Notts’ to work with logo

All files to be supplied in both hi and low res versions.

This may help. Please consider how the design would look on the side of my van. Please also think about an icon/symbol (like Nike's swoosh or Apple's apple or McDonalds golden arches etc) PLUS the words 'opotopo pilates'. This would for example go on the front of t shirt with a separate graphic design plus tag line on the back of a t shirt. Hope that helps. Simon

Hello. Opotopo is a name I've used online for some time. Its the name of a Nigerian folk singer. You are free to create a new identity for it, I like it because its simple, memorable, spells the same thing backwards as forwards plus unique in the Pilates world. I hope that helps. Simon

Hello. A few clarification points. The logo design needs to be unique, iconic, warm and engaging. The tag line designs are separate designs that need to work alongside the logo. Please no designs of people doing Pilates, Yoga etc or similar - these are too common in the market. Finally, please avoid logos that use 'OP' as this could get me in trouble with the Ocean Pacific brand who already use OP as a logo. Many thanks for your interest in the contest.
