Contest Brief

I need a logo for my business which is a small production company. I do video production and photography, and one of my specialties is aerial video and photography. 90% of my work is in real estate marketing. My website is www.elevatedhorizon.com
When it comes to my preference on design of a logo, I'm definitely looking for a clean and simple look. Maybe something like the simple lines of a horizon running off into the distance, possibly a setting sun on that horizon, again clean and simple outlines. I live and work in Santa Barbara CA, which has both ocean and mountains, so possibly incorporating one or both of those into the scene. Since I specialize in aerial work, incorporating a drone into the scene is a possibility, although not a requirement. If a drone were to be incorporated, again I would lean towards a clean and simple outline of a drone, not something that is 100% obvious. In the main version of the logo, the name 'Elevated Horizon' will be incorporated, but I would like to have a stand alone icon that can be used without the words. So either this would be a separate version maybe with just the initials 'EH'. Or the main version will have a graphic component that could be used by itself without the words 'Elevated Horizon'. I've been using blue, black, and white as colors and I lean towards continuing that. Please feel free to email with any questions. eric@elevatedhorizon.com
