Contest Brief

Logo design for a new technology development and commercialisation company.
Company name is Synexiom, and mainly works in the environmental/water space, but logo can be abstract as possible.
I prefer clean lines and solid colours, and ideally logo should stand on its own.
The company name can be included in/as the logo, otherwise I'll want the font to be standard true type so that they can be replicated separately in Word documents with a stand alone image.
I need full vector graphics files, jpg, png, eps, pdf, psd, tiff, Ai, gif, etc...
We get all copyright to the images.

#1 I like the angular style, and the 3d effect of this, though it looks like a "b" or "L". If it were changed to an octagon, it might work better?
