Contest Brief

We have a traditional logo which we like but it could do with a freshen up. Our customers are familiar with the logo which has been in the market and unchanged for 25 years. So we don't want a complete change and risk losing the recognition factor.

The brand is for specialised laboratory equipment that punches out paper disks, like an office hole punch, but far more sophisticated and computer controlled. The paper will either have dried spots of blood or saliva samples for DNA analysis. Hence the red circle representing a blood spot. We are broadening our product range beyond the punching application, and still within health laboratories. Images of the product can be seen at www.bsdrobotics.com.

Would prefer to keep mainly the same colour palette but not opposed to introducing a new colour, or changing the red to a blue, for example.

The company is BSD Robotics, but mostly our customers just know us as BSD.

    Dear Contest Holder, i just wanted to tell you to NOT be fooled by those who
    only submited their design with MockUP template (especially 3D MockUP).
    only judge the design with neutral background color (black/white).
    otherwise your judgement is a skewed,
    because 3D MockUP is just for show, its a form of a DESIGNER SCAM..
    it's only a PHOTOSHOP EDITING.. it's gonna be different when you receive the original file

    please, beware of that.

    and I recommend you check that the design you choose does not contain images already used,
    look for creations of the designer since if you use a registered image it can bring you legal problems and moreif it is for a logo and for the image of your company where you will receive money.
