Contest Brief
I want someone to create a video to go along with this song.
The song is about a long haul truck driver so something evocative of trucks and truck drivers covering long distances would be great. Use your imagination. I am a musician so I'm looking for something artistic.
The lyrics are as follows:
Driving down the road puts a smile on my face Carrying my load from place to place Watching the sunrise the watching it fall Following the straight line on the long haul.
I should take a break but that can wait I've got a deadline on this freight I can drive for hours with nothing to see Thinking about my baby waiting for me What's that? Tyre's flat Oh no, this will set me back.....
Just past Orange and I'm going flat chat, Nothing's gonna stop me now I've got the devil on my back Here comes the lights of town This rig's coming in, and then I'll turn around and do it all again, oh yes I will because I'm on the long haul, never standing still, cause I'm on the long haul. ps- Orange is a town in NSW Australia (if you could include a signpost showing the town's name in the video that would be good)
Something featuring sunrises would be good at the end as well

Imagine if the video loaded here were an instance of a making a song's process, in this case it would be just a chorus that occurred to you while you were on the bus and recorded acapella on the cell phone voice notes: This is a sketch of very very poor quality in which I play with the idea trying two different aesthetics, just as a sample that in 15 minutes I can do this, but in 1 week of serious work I can offer you a different product , original and attractive, hard to forget to your future fans. I repeat: none of the frames included in this "demo" will be part of the video that we will design. Please extend the contest term, send me a photograph of you or someone you would like the truck driver to look like, and let's do magic together.
