Contest Brief

Looking for a contemporary, clean and simple logo for a Celtic Festival of highland games, whisky, food, music and arts.

Looking for something arty, modern, minimal and playful but still professional.

We like just one image/symbol and text. Ideally the image/symbol would be able to be used stand alone on some marketing materials. (No love heart shapes or florals please - they are a little too feminine for the feel we are after).

We like deep purples (R95,G48,B134), whites, blacks and silver tones.

Would like to avoid overly traditional greens and yellows (but happy to use golds). Want to avoid anything that looks like the logo for an Irish pub/bar.

The dates of the event are not yet fixed so we would require all artwork in a vector format that we could edit as required.

**Happy to pay an additional $250 to the winning design if you can design a very simple matching WordPress Theme, I have the hosting and domain name and WordPress account set up and I can do all the populating and maintenance, just need a theme. The style I am looking for is modern, mainly white pulling in the logo and some of the purple/silver colours**
