Contest Brief

Hello artists, I would like to complete the design of a tattoo that evokes the process of evolution of life and permanent human beings transformation.

I have already done the first part (In my arm), which you can see in the attached image.

Observing from the bottom up, the four elements can be observed (air, fire, water and earth), from which the tree of life is born, in whose center an Owl is included, which symbolizes wisdom and spirituality.

Around this (the owl) the words that represent the cycle of transformation (hurt, know, want, power and do) have been included. In this order, I proceed to describe: when the PAIN is identified, we need to KNOW and / or know the cause of it, once this is achieved, we WANT to change the state of affairs to eliminate the pain, so we must understand that we must and CAN DO to change.

Honestly, I tell you that I do not like the final termination of the lower part of the tattoo, where the roots of the tree of life are integrated with the four elements of nature, but you have to live with it.

Finally and following the flow of the story that I intend to tell, I would like to integrate the previous component to the four elements. That is, the big bang and surround the entire existing tattoo with the context of the universe.


Note: I would appreciate that what the proposal presented integrates the existing in a fluid way and does not exceed beyond the elbow.
