Contest Brief

There will be a winner! I’ll continue to work with the winner (at additional cost) to perfect the design.

All elements described may not be possible, that’s ok. Mainly I’m hoping for a bold and readable logo that incorporates the sites identity of bidding and winning, with some symmetrical properties.

Colors: Construction colors and/or gold, silver, bronze

The Logo is for JunkWinners.com. I’ve attached photos that correlate to the descriptions below.

Image 1a- There are 4 elements to detail

1: The entire logo is a podium with a chest of money sitting on the first place mantle.
2: The podiums First and second place positions make the letter J. This will represent the Junk portion of the sites name. The chest also hold the place of the dot that belongs over the letter j.
3: The disconnected third place mantle loosely transforms the J into a W. The W represents the Winners portion of the sites name.
4: The chest is loosely made in the shape of a gavel to represent the auctions that will take place on the site.

Image 1b- Is an idea of how the mantles can be filled to make the podium more recognizable and/or shrink the inside area where text will fill (text fill shown in image 2a and 3a)

Image 2a- Shows the text fill of the logo. I’ll highlight 3 elements here.
1: The shape of the J & W are identical/very similar to the J & W that make the podium.
2: The text should fill all of the blank space.
3: The W needs work. Its not very legible

Image 2b- Shows the area where the DOT in .com and the DOT over the i can be located. Most importantly, I think the 2 circled areas have an opportunity to look identical.

Image 2c- Show the same chest element can also be the DOT above the i and the DOT in .com

Image 3a- Shows an early concept. Font is “BOXING”

Hopefully I’ve done a decent job detailing the logo. Please use your expertise to interpret the design and produce a logo that is note worthy.

Thanks for looking,
Cheers!
