Contest Brief

Hello! We need a logo for upcoming site Easypianoscores.com . The site will offer easy arrangement of piano tunes sold for small fees, available as pdf-downloads. The target customer group are those of every age, who can play piano a little bit but are not professionals. We expect many of them to be of ages 40-50.

One challenge here is that the site's name is quite long. However, I would like it not to be shortened - though it might be considered to have the logo without the .com -suffix, if it looks graphically much better and the logo convinces us of its benefits.

The logo can all be in capital letters. It can of course be divided somehow, for example

As we are not graphic professionals ourselves, we don't want to limit this much but trust your view, what would work best.

We would like the logo to be lively, but still trustable and not too "comic sans", if you know what I mean. If it would be possible for the final version, we would appreciate having also option for some kind of transparent (alpha-channel?) version of the logo to be able to use the logo over a background image.

The colors are not fixed, so whatever you think might be suitable. The colours of the chosen logo will be taken into account when we are finishing the site design as whole.

Also note, that we don't necessarily expect the logo to include a picture of piano or a note or that kind, though it may include an item like this as well.
