Contest Brief

I am looking for freelancers to create some well thought-through design proposals for a Asia Fast Food concept for roll out in China (floor plan, front, and simple 3D).

The design shall display a small, but very special artsy food stall, that serve food from Thailand, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China.

STALL LOCATION
Indoor, in shopping mall
Half of inside space allocated to kitchen, half to serving counter area
Outside space can be used for tables and chairs, etc.

OVERALL SPEC:
5 m long
3 m deep
2.7 m tall
2 m x 5 m area outside stall where tables and chairs can be set up
1m x 5 m wall space over shop for sign board
Open front with roller gate front to lock at night
Fixed wall on other 3 sides

FOOD CONCEPT
Asian food – fast food concept.
Like SUBWAY concept (but shall appear unique and significantly different):
From an open counter behind glass customer can pick one basic food (rice, noodles, nang), one type of meat (chicken, beef, seafood), chose two vegetables among selection of 5, 1 sauce (curry, sweet sour, pepper), one drink (among selection of 5).
From a small display cooler (on desk), customer can select a cake or other sweet.
Also coffee and tea is served

KITCHEN AREA
Preferably behind glass
Cooling cabinet (residential kitchen size)
Freezing cabinet (residential kitchen size)
Preparation table
4 electric cooking plates
Fry-Boiler
Extraction hood
Steaming cabinet
Micro wave oven
Wash basin

SERVING COUNTER
Display counter (like in SUBWAY)
Display cooler
Coffee machine
Cashier register
OK with a bar-style area in part of the space

OUTSIDE AREA
Small tables and chairs for 3-4 persons
Parasols or other
Decoration items
It is preferred the items used in the outside area can be stored inside the serving area for the night. But it is not a 100% must.

Winner may be awarded additional jobs, related to further mock-up in 3D, marketing materials, etc.

Hi all. Thank you for your entries so far - and for you questions and comments. What I am hoping to receive is a set of at least one 2D floor plan, one 2D front view, and one (or more) simple 3D view(s) to show the design you propose. Although it would of course be very nice, I am realistic, and don't expect a totally finished design at this point (a new project may be launched with the winner to perfect the winning entry). I have received some promising entries already, but I will not pick a winner before the deadline. Thank you again for all your efforts so far.

For now I am mostly interested in crowd-sourcing ideas so I can decide on at least a certain concept or direction. From there and onwards I will launch new projects in order to refine the concept and finalise the design.
