Contest Brief

Background:

I am making a movie where there is a scene were a kidnapper calls the police investigation team to present his demands - a classical scene that I must assume that you have seen!

The dynamics in the movie scene revolves around keeping the caller on the line for as long as possible, so that his location can be established.

What I need:

I need a 20 second long animation showing a map over the Kongsberg, Norway area, with cool graphics indicating that the tracking process is ongoing. What I picture is both a huge circle that shrinks, to gradually indicate a more precisely calculated position - and a progress bar ranging from "location unknown" to "position confirmed!".

The animation that you are about to make will be shown on a computer screen that investigators are flocking around. The more CSI-ish this could be made, the better.

The final result should be a .mov or .mpg file.

Don't close it yet there is still time, do you need this for widescreen or for 4:3 monitor, will it be shown in close up on monitor or from wide view (behind people around monitor) or both? I wanted to upload a sample screen I made but it says file not allowed, it wants video file. Budget seems bit low for that but can be done since it's interesting. Regards
