**
Sachin Patel has over 12+ years of IT experience in different domain including finance and telecom. He has contributed to business as a Tech Lead and Sr. Developer. Sachin’s technical expertise spans all phases of product development which include design, development, testing and maintenance. He has worked extensively on extending the Calypso system functionality by developing multi-thread GUI using Java Swing on the front end and using his strong knowledge of various Fixed income, IR Derivatives & Credit Derivatives products, Trade, Market Data and Pricing to develop functionality in the back end.
He has good understanding of Trade Lifecycle Events, Workflow, Back Office Operations, Task monitoring, knowledge of Messages, Transfers, Reporting and Scheduled Tasks using Calypso. He also has good understanding of various Calypso Engines.
He has knowledge of multiple analysis and design methodologies such as OOAD, RUP, and UML. He has worked extensively with Rational Rose for designing logical and physical architecture, and creating Use Cases, Class, Sequence, Collaboration and Activity diagrams. He is experienced with using build and source code version control tools such as Ant and CVS and working knowledge of Unix scripting. **Principal Technical Analyst: Calypso PS (Northwestern Mutual – Milwaukee WI) - Current**
· Currently working on helping NM developer to how to use Calypso API.
· Implementing Bloomberg Data Connect Integration through Calypso ver. 11.1.1
· Helping to fix Calypso test environment facing performance issue.
· Involved in Uploader (trade,quote) designing/development for NM.
· Working on Upgrade Calypso from 10.03 to 11.1.1 (testing phase)
**Principal Technical Analyst: Calypso PS (CME – Chicago IL)**
· Developed and implemented xml based Confirmation message for uploaded trades through Marketwire. Worked on Reporting Framework to generate Trade Registration report in csv/xml format through Report menu as well through Scheduled Task.
** Principal Technical Analyst: Calypso PS (client: Suntrust , Atlanta GA)**
· Technical Analyst for upgrade project from rel8004 to rel10003. Successfully migrated IR and Equity Derivative trades and reports to rel10003. Designed, developed and delivered custom development including Funding, P&L reports and FAS accounting related API development. Actively stayed on top of the issues to resolve and providing technical solution and fixes on timely manner to some of the technical issues identified during upgrade.
**Tech Analyst : O3 Technologies(client: HSBC – NY)**
· Senior developer at an investment bank in NY. Requirement analysis was done and Implemented new interface to handle cash flow details from Calypso/Summit to Treats systems. Successfully handled Summit/Calypso hardware upgrade project. Identified and resolve the MQ channel interface problem causing Summit/Calypso cash flow publish/acknowledgement process to treats.

**Tech Lead : Merrill Lynch (Jersey City – NJ)**
· Tech Lead/Sr. Developer in Liquidity and Risk Technology group at an investment bank in NY. Designed, developed and implemented LGD (Loss Given Default) process which is part of the Credit Batch process in order to optimize the process run time. Enhancement was done to add new COPER based MQ feed. Prepared detailed technical and functional documentation.
**Sr. Developer : Wachovia , NY**
· Sr. Java developer at a bank in NY. Enhancement was done in Imagine products trade ticket and trade blotter screens then migrated to Calypso using Calypso API.
· Java Developer in Fixed Income group at investment bank in NY. Designed and developed Trader’s portfolio real-time STP monitoring system. Implemented Risk Analysis and calculation features to the system. Successfully designed and developed Web based Sales match system for fixed income products. Product minimizes the scope of errors while entering order by sales person and trader.
**Developer: Qovia Inc, Friederick MD**
· Java Swing developer at a telephony company. Analysis was done to design the new features on existing VoIP network monitoring software to add new real-time blotter based real-time monitoring screen. Development and testing was done for this multi threaded module.
· Software Developer at an IT company. Repository API was developed using LDAP/JNDI interface on Netscape LDAP server for Vertex interactive server product’s security Licensing Permission.
· Software Developer at a power company. Intranet search engine implemented using java technology.
· Software developer at an IT company. Database front end was developed named Data Wizard product to connect and manipulate select no’s of database. Developed Bug Monitoring system to manage and track the Bugs in software applications.
