The scope of the project involved addition of functionalities as new variants of the products evolved as well as maintaining the embedded elevator control subsystem for changes in the software.

Some of Denso’s products are Air-Conditioning Systems, Engine related components such as Electronically Controlled In-Line Injection Pump, Engine electrical equipment, Engine Cooling System, etc., Components for Body Electronics such as Meters, Windshield Washers, Windshield Vipers, etc., Driving Control and Safety Products, and many more. Denso already has a working code for this automotive product. They wanted Patni to do Reverse Engineering for the same. That is to map the specs versus code and do a line-by-line code review of the same.
