The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side of the product. This includes working with the other developers on the team to architect our cloud-based backend. Responsibilities: Designing and implementing scalable data models and services Working with other developers to design scalable cloud-based architecture for the product Building RESTful APIs to connect our frontend to our backend services Implementing features that are related to data modeling, including data migrations, data integrity, and data validation Building integrations with third party APIs Optimizing performance for backend services by using caching techniques Working with other developers on server side unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests Troubleshooting production issues related to backend services
