## BIO .NET PROGRAMMER BY HEART! Background Info: My name is Nick Kusters, and i am 23 years age. In reside in The Netherlands (Europe). During the day, i work a Software company that specializes in Exact Software Custimization. I have done projects for companies like KLM Health Services, Nike and Cannon using Visual [login to view URL] and C# to build ASP.NET applications and WebServices, but also Console and Windows Applications that interact with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005. I have also done some technical designs using UML. I spend my evenings programming my own projects or projects for friends. I have started fairly late with computers (about 8-10 years ago). Starting on a Compaq with a Celly 233 running windows 95, i discovered the internet. With Windows shipped QuickBasic, as an addon. After reading some tutorials on the net, i wrote my first program. After writing some QBasic programs, i wanted more of a challenge, and started looking for a other language to program in. Next came Visual Basic Scripting (also free and works on any win9x machine). Scipting languages are nice, but options are limited, so i moved on to something new, a Graphical developement enviroment. I started with VB6, bought some books, made a few projects with a friend of mine, and became more and more into programming. Then it happened, Microsoft released Visual [login to view URL] 2002. As soon as it was released, i started with VB.Net and fell in love with it. Since then i have made hundreds of programs, most of them started because i needed something (automating websites, making a better FTP client then i could find, custom mail programs, etc). My favorite 'Genres' involve anything with Automating Websites/Data Mining/GDI+/Sockets/DirectX.
