It was absolutely terrible to work with Luis. We agreed beforehand on very clear milestones and delivery dates as well as times he would be daily available for communication. He kept on disappearing sometimes for weeks on end. He always promised the next milestone would be finished tomorrow or in two days. I asked him to let me know if for some reason he couldn't make it. He never did that, just disappeared again for a week. When he came back online he never apologized, just pretended that this is a normal way of relating to people. In the end after a period of 4 months (project's deadline was 3 months earlier) he had not even finished the first milestone. Virtually nothing was done at all. During the whole process he never had any questions about the requirements. My fault was that I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt for so long. Only positive thing is that he agreed to the cancellation of the milestone payment without objections.
