A data entry specialist is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in various formats, such as spreadsheets, databases, or online systems. Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy are essential in this role to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Entering and updating data in spreadsheets, databases, or other software applications.
Verifying and cross-referencing data for accuracy and completeness.
Organizing and sorting data to ensure easy retrieval and analysis.
Resolving any discrepancies or errors found in the data.
Handling sensitive and confidential information with strict confidentiality.
Performing data cleanup and maintenance tasks as needed.
Ensuring data entry tasks are completed within specified deadlines.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with data entry software/tools.
Typing speed and accuracy are highly valued.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data.
Basic understanding of spreadsheets and databases.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in data entry or related fields (though not always required).
My working hours are from Mondays to Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (IST)
