Superintendent on a $10 Million Design Build Project for a pre-designed metal structure building.
**Superintendent, Brac Dorm project Valdasta, Georgia (Nov. 2009 to Jan. 2010) -** Mr. Cruikshank took over this $12 million Project which was behind and was able to come in and complete the project on time and under budget.
**Superintendent, Chaplaincy Ctr., Ft. Jackson, S.C. (Aug. 2009 to Nov. 2009) –**
Mr. Cruikshank played a key role in getting this $15 million Project close-out on time. He also took the lead on all the exterior work and oversaw all utility tie-in’s, landscaping and sidewalk construction and harmonization.
**Project Superintendent Gulf Blvd Improvement Project, Indian Shores, Fl (Oct. 2007 to Aug. 2009) -** Mr. Cruikshank was responsible for all field operations of this $23 miliion CM Project, Including job schedule, monthly estimates, jobsite safety, quality control and weekly progress meetings with owner. The job included 3 miles of road reconstruction; 12,000’ of 16” reclaim water line, 2500’ of 12” potable water, 6 miles of permeable asphalt, and 5 CDS units and outfalls.
**Superintendent, Golden Gate High School, Naples, Fl (Jan. 2007 to Oct. 2007) –**
Mr. Cruikshank was responsible for all field operations of this $4 million Design Build Project; Including job schedule, monthly estimates, jobsite safety, quality control and bi-weekly progress meetings with owner. Project consisted of a 135’ flat slap bridge to retaining walls, 2000’ of roadwork and a drainage system.
Bridge Inspector, Escambia Bay Bridge (SR 8/I-10), Pensacola, FL (Jan. 2006 to Jan. 2007): Mr. Cruikshank was responsible for Pile Driving Inspection, Structure/Sub-structure Inspection, Post Tensioning and Grout inspection, Maintenance of Traffic, preparing Daily report of construction. This $250 million project included construction of two new bridges with three 12’ travel lanes and a 10’ inside & outside shoulder each, on the I-10 Eastbound on-ramp & I-10 westbound off-ramp.
Navarre Beach State Park/ Santa Rosa County, Fl - Mr. Cruikshank performed a detailed analysis of hurricane damage to 21 Navarre Beach State Park facilities and associated infrastructure, utilized this detailed damage assessment analysis and establish a comprehensive Statement of Work for the repair requirements to restore these facilities to pre-hurricane condition. Mr. Cruikshank was responsible for producing bid documents and inspection of the $1.7 million project to repair these facilities and infrastructure, which includes more than 3700 (LF) of boardwalk replacement and 10,000 LF of various fencing. Responsibilities included but were not limited to, quantifying pay items, coordinating contractor work with other agencies, and verification of contractor compliance with project plans and specifications, keeping daily logs of contractor and subcontractor’s equipment, labor, etc.I-10/I-110 Interchange/ Escambia County, Fl – Inspected construction of over two miles of barrier wall. Inspected construction of two bridge decks and approach slabs for Creighton Road Bridge and I-10 eastbound overpass. Inspected over two miles of 12.5mm base asphalt, structural asphalt with polymer, and the crack and reseat of existing concrete roadway. Inspected the construction of asphalt army layer. Inspected and maintained all required documentation not limited to the above referenced construction activities. Inspected the installation new drainage and lighting elements.
